Three roles, three practice tracks
Select the track that matches the Infosys role you applied for. Each track has dedicated practice sets tailored to that role's assessment pattern.
System Engineer (SE)
Aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and basic programming concepts. The SE assessment is the broadest Infosys campus role.
- Quantitative aptitude
- Logical and inductive reasoning
- Verbal ability
- Basic data structures
- C / Java fundamentals
Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE)
Advanced coding problems, data structures, and algorithms with a focus on problem-solving speed and correctness.
- Arrays, strings, and hashing
- Linked lists and trees
- Graphs and dynamic programming
- Sorting and searching algorithms
- Medium-to-hard LeetCode-style problems
Specialist Programmer (SP)
Challenging algorithmic coding with a strong emphasis on efficiency, advanced data structures, and competitive programming patterns.
- Advanced dynamic programming
- Segment trees and BIT
- Graph algorithms (Dijkstra, Bellman-Ford, Floyd-Warshall)
- Bit manipulation
- Competitive programming problem patterns
Preparing for an Infosys campus drive?
This practice area is built for engineering students who are preparing for the Infosys InfyTQ campus assessment or any Infosys on-campus placement round. The assessment differs significantly by role — from broad aptitude for SE to demanding algorithmic problems for SP.
Practising here helps you:
- Understand the difference between SE, DSE, and SP difficulty levels
- Build fluency with data structures (arrays, trees, graphs, DP)
- Practice within realistic time constraints
- Track test cases passed per problem for DSE and SP sets

Frequently asked questions
Is this an official Infosys platform?
No. Techkalaa Practice is an independent educational platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with Infosys Limited or any of its assessment partners. All practice materials are compiled independently.
What is the difference between SE, DSE, and SP?
These are three distinct Infosys campus hiring tracks. SE (System Engineer) is a generalist role with aptitude and basic coding. DSE (Digital Specialist Engineer) focuses on data structures and algorithms. SP (Specialist Programmer) targets candidates with strong competitive programming skills and expects harder algorithmic problems.
Can I practise for multiple roles?
Yes. Once you log in, you can access practice sets for all three roles — SE, DSE, and SP — from the Infosys practice hub.
What coding languages are supported?
The platform focuses on problem-solving logic rather than a specific language. Most coding questions are language-agnostic. Hints and explanations where available are written in Python or Java.
Is the practice free?
Core practice rounds are free. Extended practice sets for DSE and SP roles are available as part of a premium package.
